Previous topic: FAITH

Faith is confidence in what we hope for and assurance about what we do not see.

Why is fear bad for you?
Fear can be healthy. It is programmed into your nervous system, and gives you the survival instincts you need to keep yourself safe from danger. Fear is unhealthy when it makes you more cautious than you really need to be to stay safe, and when it prevents you from doing things you would otherwise enjoy.

What chemicals does fear release?
The reason is because a fight-or-flight response unleashes powerful hormones that affect the entire body. When frightened, your body floods with the hormone adrenaline. This skyrockets your heart rate and blood pressure, according to Scientific American. A model of an adrenaline, also known as epinephrine.

How to grow in faith?

II. What's the reason we are afraid to show our faith and step-up?
We're afraid to be judged

III. What's the truth about these fear?
1. Being judged is crucial part of life because it's either build you or let other people break you. Sa totoo lang some people will judge you either you do right thing or not, pero sa totoo lang yung mga tao na nag judge sayo ay wala din namang maitutulong. And number 1 that will judge you is your family, because they know who you were. Your friends.

So right now as 2 Timothy 1:6 said "fan into the flame the gift of God, which is in you through the laying of my hands"

Laying of hands is confirmation that yes, you have the ability. Laying of hands also means blessing. It is allowing someone to do something. It also means trust.

IV. What are the 4points?
1. Don't focus on what people says but focus on what God says
2. Fan into flame - meaning we need to enhance our God given ability
3. No excuses - don't allow your current situation dictates on who you will become.
4. Find a leader or mentor that will help you grow and trust you

So what does these words mean?
It means that we need someone who will guide us, who will train us with our God given ability. You need someone who will lead you. Who will tell you that you can. Find a leader, a mentor who can bring the best out of you.

Our deepest fear is not that we are inadequate. Our deepest fear is that we are powerful beyond measure. It is our light, not our darkness that most frightens us. Your playing small does not serve the world. There is nothing enlightened about shrinking so that other people won't feel insecure around you. We were all meant to shine as children do. It's not just in some of us; it's in everyone. And as we let our own light shine, we unconsciously give other people permission to do the same. As we are liberated from our own fear, our presence automatically liberates others. Our Deepest Fear by Marianne Williamson
